Sand Art- Desert Safari Dubai

They say it’s hard to take sand in your hand as it slips out of it ~ Anonymous.

While on a Dubai Desert Safari, among a lot of souvenir's you will find one that is common amongst all. It’s the sand art or sand bottles.

Sand art is a popular souvenir handicraft item in Middle East. Local sand is dyed and skillfully poured into glass bottles of all shapes and sizes to create illustrations of local landscapes, Camels in Dubai, or words and sayings. You may even have your name etched in sand for a lasting reminder of your visit. (See the technique of sand art in the pictures below)

The Desert Safari campsites in Dubai have souvenir shops full of different sand art bottles and artists, who can give you any kind of reflections, drawing or scenery you want to take home with you as a bottled memory. So, who ever said you cannot take sand in your hands needs to have a Desert Safari Dubai experience. :-D

The Desert Safari tour also entails beautiful henna painting, shisha (Hubbly Bubbly), BBQ Food, Dune Bashing, Arabian Camels, sunset treks, Beautiful Belly Dancer shows, and lots of other activities.
